Lisa joined the firm in 2015 and was made a Director shortly afterwards. With more than 15 years’ experience, she specialises in commercial litigation and is also an accredited mediator. She was named in the Legal 500 in 2013. Areas of Lisa’s expertise include automotive, contract and commercial disputes, construction disputes, and credit hire debt recovery. David qualified in 1991, and was made a Director on 1 October 2004; he specialises in private and commercial litigation, and has particular interests in technical, computing and engineering disputes, intellectual and real property, boundary disputes and private and commercial Landlord and Tenant claims. He has dealt with many large-scale actions (some of which have gone to the Court of Appeal), and has participated in several reported cases. He has a degree in Biophysics and a Master’s degree in Biological Engineering.

Jayne Harrison joined Cleggs on 1 March 2016 as a director and head of our employment department. She trained at a top 100 law firm and for the last 11 years Jayne was a partner and head of the employment department at Chattertons Solicitors. Jayne advises on all areas of employment law including tribunal advocacy, discrimination, dismissals, contracts of employment, staff handbooks, TUPE, settlement agreements, grievances and disciplinaries. Fay qualified as a Solicitor in 1990 and has worked for us since 1998. She heads up our Personal Injury department which includes Elizabeth Royall, solicitor and Claire Dickerson, Paralegal.
She has specialised in Claimant personal injury work since qualification and has particular expertise in work related accident claims as for many years she had undertaken work for a trade union. She also deals with public liability claims including slips and trips, RTA claims and product liability claims.

Claire joined Cleggs in May, 2018 and advises SME business owners and entrepreneurs on corporate and commercial law. Taking the time to understand you, your business and your aims, Claire will provide straightforward advice on areas including business structure and start-up, financing for businesses, commercial trading arrangements and contracts, and preparing for sale or succession planning through to disposal.
